The beginning

Lately in the news there have been many things that have been reported which make me want to write. The reason they make me want to write is that they are reports of unreasonable people doing unreasonable things. It makes me question why they choose to step forward to do and say things that are so off the wall and irrational. I understand the media itself is partially to blame because they want their shows to be interesting. What really concerns me is the image that the USA has in the world today with the media always representing the sensational. Right now the USA has great influence in this world but it is losing respect when we have people that go way overboard to express themselves and end up looking like uneducated, illiterate idiots.The common man/woman of the USA does not generally get heard above the roar of those that speak in such a way that attracts the attention of the media. My hope is to be one small voice of reason in response to this. I don't pretend to be an expert on anything, I have a high school education with some college nothing to boast about as far as education goes. My list of accomplishments do not include anything outstanding to date. I do have a book that is being published and will be released soon. But other than that I do not have any particular qualifications that anyone should listen to what I have to say other than I try to be a reasonable person. I am good mother, sister, aunt and employee. Just the average person in a country where everyone can say what they want and only those who scream the loudest or that are way off the wall get heard.........because it makes news. I hope to be a small voice of reason to be heard to contrast the loud unreasonable voice of the fanatic.
